Marta Munk
Boasts 20 years of experience in international recruitment, excelling in multinational and multicultural environments. Being born in Venezuela and having lived and worked in Spain, the US, Germany, Argentina, and the Netherlands, Marta has established herself as an international senior leader of multifunctional teams and an expert in partnering with executives across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the US. She is known for her strategic input and leadership in talent acquisition, but Marta also brings solid experience in HR operations and is a deep expert in compensation. Her roles have always required her to have a deep understanding of organizational needs and a commitment to adding value to the business, employees and candidates while serving as a cultural and organizational leader.
Marta has served as the Director of Talent Acquisition EMEA at Netflix. Since she joined during the brand´s global launch, over the years, she focused on partnering with leadership to address staffing needs and organizational design and international expansion.
Marta managed and scaled a team responsible for talent acquisition, candidate experience and inclusion recruiting programs. She also led the Talent Experience Operations team helping build and manage operations teams for employee experience services like benefits, mobility, contingent talent and analytics. Prior to her tenure at Netflix, Marta served as the Recruitment Manager for South – EMEA and Latam at Booking.com, where she was instrumental in scaling the company from 4.000 to 15.000 employees globally. She spearheaded a multi-country team, overseeing the strategic recruitment management for the launch of over 20 new entities worldwide. Her role demanded a sophisticated approach to project management and organizational expansion, ensuring seamless integration and robust HR support for rapid global growth. Her earlier career includes roles at Heidrick & Struggles, IHR Consultancy, and internships at Ericsson and Ahorro Corporación Financiera, where she developed her expertise in executive search and HR.
